Development Lessons — Ages 3–4

Play-based early development classes that build attention, fine motor skills, speech, memory, and social confidence.

  • Location: 1080 Waverley St, Unit 13 (South Winnipeg)
  • Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (drop-in blocks & small groups)
  • Format: Small groups + short 1-on-1 micro-sessions
  • Language support: English (RU-friendly)

Early development classes ages 3–4

What we work on

  • Attention & simple routines (hello song, clean-up, transition cues)
  • Fine motor skills (beads, stickers, line tracing, peg boards)
  • Gross motor play (balance, hopping, coordination circuits)
  • Pre-math & logic (sorting, matching, patterns, sizes, sequences)
  • Speech & vocabulary (themes, stories, songs, finger plays)
  • Memory & listening games (call-and-response, picture recall)
  • Social skills (turn-taking, sharing, gentle rules)

Class structure

  • Short, varied activities (5–10 minutes) to match age attention span
  • Centers: table tasks, floor play, movement corner, calm corner
  • Mini 1-on-1 check-ins for targeted support
  • Parent notes with simple at-home extensions

FAQ

Do parents stay?
For ages 3–4 we may invite a short initial stay to help the child settle, then transition to independent participation.

What to bring?
Indoor shoes, water bottle, and a small snack (nut-free).
